Hua Hin WeatherOne reason Hua Hin is popular is because it has the cooling breezes from the sea to make it less humid than the cities, especially during the very humid period between late April, and August. This is the ‘rainy’ season, with some spectacular thunder storms. These are not windy unpleasant storms such as those in Europe, and some enjoy watching the flashes of lightening dance across the skies in the evening. The storms tend to be later in the day after there has been a build up of humidity. So, the best time to come to Hua Hin, is from September through to February, skies are clearer and its less humid. The temperatures do not vary that much over a twelve month period, from a low of around 27 to a high of 35 C. It’s always warm (or hot), and in the drier period, there is guaranteed sunshine. One advantage of visiting Hua Hin in the ‘low’ season is the hotel costs are even better value, and there are fewer tourists around. The rains do not really interfere with holidays since, on most occasions there is a burst of heavy rain, the skies clear and the sun returns. The answer is to take some time out in one of the beach restaurants, have a cool drink, and then return to the serious business of sunbathing. Today weather report
